We are still without power and today is a little on the chilly side, so I think I’m going to need to forego a shower. Besides the shower though, we hardly notice the lack of electricity. Our third-floor suite gets LOTS of wonderful sunlight, even on a cloudy day like today. There are two big windows in the bedroom, a long window in the “kitchen” and a window in the bathroom. AND there are skylights in both the kitchen and bathroom.
PS: We posted some pictures in the “Coppermine” on the photos page. Check them out.
Sounds like a nice place. Hi to you guys and all of Eileen’s side of the family…How was/ is Door County. (Heck…we can have a stateside chat through this website too.)
I got a good feeling about that place. From the pictures, it reminds me of the place that Kareem and I stayed in while in Spain. Much too small overall, but it wouldn’t have been the same without it. But that shower head is sketchy as hell.
This is SO cool! It is so fun to hear from you and the pictures really add an element of realization! I am so glad your host family is “pretty cool” I figured they must be to have two “strangers” move in for a year!
Eileen, I called your Mom and Dad last night as soon as I read the updates. I wish I could have captured your Mom’s squeals.
Hi to all of Tim’s family too! Door County was awesome for Kelsey & I but 2 days was not enough! I know Maureen will be able to share alot more since they are there for 21 days!!! OH to be retired!!!
Have a GREAT DAY everybody!!!
THANK YOU Tim & EILEEN for letting us share in your experience!!!
